From Self-Doubt to Self-Acceptance
Healing for those who grew up in emotionally painful families
Online psychotherapy for individuals across Virginia and Indiana

What would it feel like to finally be enough, just as you are?
I’m Suzanne, a psychotherapist working with individuals across Virginia and Indiana. I help people who grew up in difficult or emotionally painful families break free from self-doubt, shame, and people-pleasing so they can finally feel comfortable being themselves.
Maybe you’ve spent your life taking care of others, worrying about being "too much" or "not enough," or struggling to set boundaries. Perhaps you feel stuck in patterns of self-criticism, anxiety, past trauma, or relationships that don’t feel truly supportive. These struggles often stem from early experiences, but they don’t have to define you.
Therapy is a space where you can begin to untangle these patterns with compassion and curiosity, not to dwell on the past, but to understand how it has shaped you and to create a path forward. I believe in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship and strive to provide a welcoming, nonjudgmental, and affirming space where you can be open and honest without fear of judgment.
Together, we’ll work on increasing self-understanding, breaking free from unhelpful narratives, and developing self-compassion, so you can build a life that feels more authentic, peaceful, and meaningful.
